In recent years I have discovered the tremendous value of devoting the six weeks of Lent to seeking to be closer to God. I've just completed a series of 32 five-minute meditations – one for each weekday in Lent, starting on Ash Wednesday, 5 March. The series is called “The Kingdom of God is like…” and is based largely on the parables of Jesus. I think you will find them helpful.
